Day 1: Istanbul → Diyarbakır → Hasankeyf → Mardin
Catch an early morning flight from Istanbul to Diyarbakır (around 07:00 AM). Upon arrival, explore the massive Diyarbakır City Walls, which rank as the second longest ancient walls in the world after China’s Great Wall. Visit the Grand Mosque, Roman Bridge, Hasanpaşa Caravanserai, and Deliller Caravanserai. Enjoy a traditional dinner at the caravanserai before heading to Hasankeyf, an ancient riverside town. Explore the Hasankeyf Castle, Little and Grand Serails, and the Grand Mosque. Continue to Mardin, check into your hotel, and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Midyat & Mardin
After breakfast, drive to Midyat, a town famous for its traditional silverwork and old stone houses. Stroll through the charming streets and visit the Purple Barsovo Church. Day 3: Mardin → Urfa
Start the day visiting Deyr-üz Zafaran Monastery, the historic Sultan Isa Medrese, and Kasimiye Medrese. Explore Mardin’s Ulu Mosque and its vibrant bazaar before driving to Urfa. In Urfa, visit the sacred Abraham’s Pool of Fish, Halil-ur Rahman Mosque, Rizvaniye Mosque, and the old bazaar. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner.

Day 4: Harran → Atatürk Dam → Mt. Nemrut → Kahta
After breakfast, drive to Harran, an ancient city famous for its beehive-shaped houses. Explore the Harran Castle, city walls, Grand Mosque, and traditional conical houses. Return to Urfa for lunch, then drive past the Atatürk Dam, one of the largest engineering projects in Turkey. Continue to Mt. Nemrut, where at sunset you’ll see the incredible statues of King Antiochus and other deities, a perfect spot for photos and breathtaking views. Afterward, drive to Kahta for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5: Kingdom of Commagene Ruins → Gaziantep → Istanbul
After breakfast in Kahta, explore the ancient Commagene ruins, including the Tumulus of Karakus, the Roman-era Cendere Bridge, and Arsameia Summer City. Continue to Gaziantep for lunch and visit the Archaeological Museum and Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Transfer to Gaziantep Airport for your evening flight back to Istanbul (around 19:35). Your southeastern Turkey adventure concludes here, leaving you with unforgettable memories.
